‘DREAMING OF A MAGICAL FUTURE’ – EJF’s COLLECTION OF EXCLUSIVE DESIGNER ETHICAL TSHIRTS AVAILABLE FROM DECEMBER AT CHICA!!!
Luella Bartley

Zhandra Rhodes
The ‘Best of British’ designers, Luella Bartley, Alice Temperley and Zhan
dra Rhodes have designed exclusive t’shirts for the Environmental Justice Foundation’s (EJF) work raising awareness of forced child labour and the ecological devastatioin associated with cotton production.Using the theme of ‘childhood, lost innocence and hope’ the combination of colour and crisp Black & White makes up the gorgeous 2010 collection which is set to follow the success of previous designs donated by Allegra Hicks, John Rocha, Giles Deacon, Christian Lacroix, Betty Jackson and Katharine Hamnett.
Loved by models, celebritites and highlights of fashion weeks internationally, the must have t-shirts are produced on organic and farily traded cotton and printed using organic certified inks. All proceeds raised by EJF from the sale of the t-shirts go to support the charity’s valuable work finding lasting solutions to environmental and human rights crimes and defending our credible planet
Juliette Williams of EJF says “Even in tough economic times, our buying power can be a force for goods. Choosing organic and fairly traded cotton actively supports communities in some of the world’s poorest nations, where fair and equitable trade to the West can literally mean the difference between life and death.”Awarded Glamour and Elle “Designer of the Year” Alice Temperley says “ I wanted to make this T shirt to help those poor innocent children with no way out, no dreams of their own and in order to highlight the chronic and severe exploitation across the industry.”

EJF supporter Sophie Ellis Bextor says “As a mother, it is inconceivable to me that some of the world’s poorest children should be exploited for the sake of the clothes we wear in the West. The Environmental Justice Foundation is making real change in the fashion industry and beyond. By buying EJF’s gorgeous t-shirts you can lend some stylish support to a fantastic cause”
The 2010 collection will exclusively go on sale in Chica, Westbury Mall, Dublin 2 and online at www.chicaboutiqueonline.com from December 2009.
All T shirt styles designed by Luella Bartley, Zhandra Rhodes and Alice Temperley retail at just €35.00.
